Pat Sharkey’s
tax-focused professional expertise is invaluable to the small business owner. As
a former entrepreneur in the restaurant/tavern industry, he understands the
daily pressures of maintaining a stable business. He’ll combine this with his
acquired technical knowledge and experience to form practical solutions for his
clients.
Pat has spent his entire professional career in public accounting. He has
concentrated his education and experience in such small business concerns such
as tax avoidance, cash flow management, transaction structuring, and wealth
transfer. Pat seeks to improve the bottom line of his clients by employing
creative, innovative, and cost effective tax minimization strategies.
While working with small and large accounting firms, Pat has gotten familiar
with accounting and tax issues affecting businesses in the service, retail, and
manufacturing business sectors. He as in-depth experience in the real estate,
auto dealership, and insurance brokerage industries. He is also comfortable with
ownership structures that involve such wealth transfer devises such as trusts
and family limited partnerships.
Pat has a Masters Degree in Taxation from Philadelphia University, and earned a
BBA from Temple University as an accounting major. He has achieved the CSEP
(Certified Specialist in Estate Planning) designation from the National
Institute For Excellence in Professional Education. He is married with 3
children, and resides in Hatboro, Pennsylvania.
